(http://eepurl.com/fCLK) SSLL 2010 FALL BASEBALL INFORMATION We will have 3 Divisions to choose from depending on player’s age: AAA: Anyone who will be trying out for AAA in Spring 2011(as long as the playing age will be 8 to 11 years old prior to April 30,2011). Majors: Anyone who will be trying out for Majors in Spring 2011(as long as the playing age will be 9 to 12 years old prior to April 30,2011). Juniors: Anyone who will be trying out for Juniors in Spring 2011(as long as the playing age will be 13 to 14 years old prior to April 30,2011). We would like to put on an Umpire Clinic this fall to get our umpires trained and ready for the 2011 Spring Season!! Here is what SSLL will provide: SSLL will pay for the training - NO COST to you. SSLL will provide the umpire gear. One night a week training for 6 consecutive weeks in Fall 2010. We need to have several people sign-up in order to put the FREE clinic on!! So if you know of anyone else who might be interested, sign them up to be contacted sometime this coming September with more information. I understand that the facilities are public property however the grounds are allocated to South Salem Little League for the season. This means that South Salem Little League is responsible for the upkeep, safety, organizing and keeping control of the grounds during our League events (practices and games) Monday through Saturday. Our League insurance requires us to not allow pets at our functions. With snacks, unfamiliar parents, children and other dogs it could create a possible situation that would put our League in an area of liability danger. Lets continue to work on a safe place for our players to play Baseball and Softball.Please be aware that we will start enforcing this rule, starting Saturday, 4-17-10. If we see any pets on the fields you will be asked to take them home. So make sure if you have guests coming to watch the games that don't get our emails, that they are aware of this. We will be asking coaches and managers to help us watch for these situations, since we can't be in all places at the same time. Let's set a good example for our kids and respect the rules.
