What are Evaluations?
Evaluations are a basic skills assessment scored by league administrators and coaches. Each player League Age 8 or older must be evaluated every spring season.
Teams are formed based on age and skill level to ensure fair competition. No player will be cut from Little League.
What to Expect?
Players arrive and check in outside of the gym, they will then be guided through the rest of the evaluation process.
We ask that parents wait outside the gym while their player is evaluated as space is limited and it is important to reduce distractions. If this is the first time a player is being evaluated or if there is another need, parents may watch quietly from within the gym.
Evaluations last about 20 minutes and cover basic skills: fielding, throwing, running, and hitting.
This is NOT a tryout—no player will be cut from Little League.
Evaluation scores help the league create balanced teams.
